Ryan’s training credentials list a number of schools completed including Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Instructors Course, FNH Armorer’s Course, Combat Marksmanship Trainers Course, Combat Coaches Course, NRA Tactical Shooting Instructors Course, Foreign Weapons Instructors Course, Curriculum Developers Course and several others. Ryan’s experience and dedication to your success will be the drive necessary to assist you with your goals in and beyond the class.

CPL CLASS ~ What to expect:
Ryan will go over the Concealed Pistol License Course lessons. We will have a lawyer cover Michigan gun laws. US Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) representative will discuss membership insurance for gun owners. We will spend time on the range to complete the nationally standardized shooting qualification. You will receive the CPL reference book and complete the CPL Student Examination. Once the CPL Course is complete, you will receive your NCPL Certificate.
Your Certificate will need to be brought to your County Clerk after Wednesday: Michigan County Clerk Directory. The County Clerk will charge a fee (usually around $100) and will give you a form to bring to the local County Sheriff’s Office to get fingerprints completed: Michigan Sheriff Offices. The Sheriff Department will take the Form from the County Clerk and will charge a fee (usually around $15) for your fingerprint cards. Every CPL Class Attendee must fill out Magnum Sports gun range policy form and will need to bring the following to class:
40 Rounds of Ammo
Eye Protection: Any glasses/ safety glasses will work. These can also be purchased for as low as $3 on the day of the class.
Ear Protection: Bring your own or these can be purchased the day of class as well for $20-$80.00 depending on personal preference.
Gun: Bring your own or rent one of ours for $30. Please note that if you are renting a gun, you must purchase the ammo from our store.
Optional Items: Drinks, Snacks, Lunch. A 1-hour lunch break is included in the itinerary and attendees are welcome to leave for lunch if preferred.CPL

It was my first time visiting Magnum Sports. They have a lot of different things from hunting equipment, to camping supplies, along with guns and shooting range / archery range. They are very helpful and knowledgeable – they take time to work with you and help you gain new information along with teaching you how to perfect and guide your shooting. I took my first class with them this past weekend and I’m glad to have taken the class. I learned a lot and I plan on taking more classes; I heard they also plan on having a women’s self defense class – I plan on signing up for it, I took the Ladies only CPL class and it was super informative and helpful.
