Master Instructor of Magnum Sports
Ryan is designated as the Master Instructor of Magnum Sports. He has served 10+ years in the United States Marine Corps, where he served on four combat deployments as an 03xx. His performance provided him with the opportunity to be a part of the Foreign Weapons Instructors Courses as Chief Instructor and the Marine Corps 3 Gun Team at Quantico VA. During his service Ryan shot competitively at numerous matches around the world. He advanced to become Master Instructor and Curriculum Developer in Quantico. Ryan has trained and trained with the FBI, DEA, CIA, ATF, and the Federal Air Marshals to list a few. Ryan’s training credentials list a number of schools completed including: Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Instructors Course, FNH Armorer’s Course, Combat Marksmanship Trainers Course, Combat Coaches Course, NRA Tactical Shooting Instructors Course, Foreign Weapons Instructors Course, Curriculum Developers Course and several others.
Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and children who also love the outdoors and shooting sports. Ryan loves introducing families to self-defense, and teaching people to protect themselves and their families.

I had an amazing time today at Magnum. I’m fairly new to archery and one thing I’ve noticed is that there’s a lot to learn… which is why I’m thankful I had Ryan to help me. I needed new arrows and had a lot of questions. This guy is an outdoorsman encyclopedia in human form. Really nice fella, too. Ryan and his staff spent a generous amount of time explaining everything, hooked me up with some really cool Easton arrows and even gave me a few welcomed pointers to clean up my shooting form. We had my bow dialed in as quick as a hiccup.
They also have the new Hoyt bows in stock. I had the chance to shoot their new product line while I was in there. I would definitely recommend asking about those next time you go to Magnum if you’re in the market for a new bow.
I felt less like a customer and more like a welcomed member of a community in there. This is where I’ll be making all hunting, fishing, and firearm purchases going forward.

I took the basic conceal carry class, the instructor Ryan was more than knowledgeable on all subjects. The range time was fluent and easy to learn and improve. I would recommend this class to everyone that wants to conceal.
